Facilities & Abilities
Mechanical Design
Utilising our experience with appropriate CAD tools, RPF can offer their clients Mechanical Design, either as a stand-alone service, or alongside any of their related design applications.
RF Testing
In our comprehensively equipped laboratory, we have the facility to test your RF hardware to gauge its’ performance. This ability will also allow us to test, not only our designs but also any relevant equipment that it may be interfaced with.
Environmental Testing
Our thermal test chamber allows us to test and monitor the performance of equipment, whilst operating, over specified temperature ranges. We can ascertain if there is any deterioration in performance over given temperatures and suggest possible solutions to rectify problems. We can attain temperatures of – 500C to + 1500C and the chamber has a one cubic foot capacity.
On-Site Engineering
We can provide ‘on-site’ engineers should our clients require assistance. This can be achieved either on a ‘call-out’ basis, or via contract, if circumstances require it.
Repair & Evaluation
RPF are able to service and repair most types of RF equipment. Quotations would be issued on an individual basis for this service. We can also provide an investigative and development service on clients’ existing designs and equipment, utilising the RF test equipment in our laboratory.
EMI / EMC Requirements
RPF has experience in designing to meet EMI / EMC legislation. We can also adapt existing RF designs to meet specific EMC requirements. Whether we are enhancing your designs, or developing our own to meet your EMC requirements, we can assist in ensuring your products meet the relevant EMI / EMC certification.
